- The University of Tampa's library opened Oct. 19, 1969, and was originally named in honor of the late St. Louis industrialist, Merl Kelce, whose donation made the construction possible. It was re-named the Macdonald-Kelce Library in 1999 because of the generosity of the Macdonald Family Foundation whose contribution will transform the facility.
- The Library Folder on your Mac contains Preference Files, Caches, and Application Support Data. While regular Mac users may not find the need to access the Hidden Library Folder, advanced Mac users will at times come across the need to access files inside the Library Folder for.
IMSL (International Mathematics and Statistics Library) is a commercial collection of software libraries of numerical analysis functionality that are implemented in the computer programming languagesC, Java, C#.NET, and Fortran. A Python interface is also available.
The IMSL Libraries are provided by Rogue Wave Software.
Version history[edit]
The first IMSL Library for the Fortran language was released in 1970, followed by a C-language version originally called C/Base in 1991, a Java-language version in 2002 and the C#-language version in 2004.
Several recent product releases have involved making IMSL Library functions available from Python. These releases are Python wrappers to IMSL C Library functions (PyIMSL wrappers) and PyIMSL Studio, a prototyping and production application development environment based on Python and the IMSL C Library. The PyIMSL wrappers were first released in August 2008. PyIMSL Studio was introduced in February 2009. PyIMSL Studio is available for download at no charge for non-commercial use or for commercial evaluation.

Platform availability[edit]
Jan 12, 2020 Apple hides the Library folder by setting a file system flag associated with the folder. You can toggle the visibility flag for any folder on your Mac; Apple just chose to set the Library folder's visibility flag to the off state by default.
The IMSL Numerical Libraries are supported on various operating systems, hardware and compilers.
